it is time to accept a few truths:

- i am a writer, and i have two choices: i can hide, insistent upon my inability, and live the unfulfilled life of a writer who does not write, or i can get my ass in gear, regardless of my petty dislike for what i find to be taxing, draining work, and write.

- the steves and the andrews of this world will never be what i want them to be, and expecting them to become what i want, in my silly romantic, cynical way will only do stupid things to my head.

- i'm growing up. damn it.
